From the trail head, follow the red and yellow markers. There is three trails that all start from this trail head. The trail starts out mostly level and with a very short moderate climb and descent where you will come to the junction with the Calamity Brook Trail to your right that is marked with red markers. |

From the junction with the Indian Pass from Upper Works Trail and the Duck Hole via Henderson Lake Trail, follow the red markers. The trail starts out on a logging road and veers off to the right after about a mile. Once off of the logging road, the trail crosses Calamity Brook via a suspension bridge. After the bridge, the trail is mostly level and after 1.4m, you will come to the junction with the Indian Pass-Calamity Brook Crossover Trail on your left marked by blue markers. |

From the junction with the Indian Pass-Calamity Brook trail, the trail follows blue markers now. The trail starts off and continues most of the way on a moderate climb. You will descend a ladder and cross Calamity Brook via a bridge after 1.1m. After you cross Calamity Brook, the trail is mostly level and you will cross several streams. After 2.6m you will come to Calamity Pond on your left. After 2.9m you come to the Calamity Lean-To Number 1 on your right. |
