Starting Point: Trail Head, Porter Mt. from Keene Valley Airport via Ridge Trail
Ending Point: Porter Mountain Summit

From the trail head, the trail starts off walking parallel to the road, then veers off to the left off of the road. After a half mile, the road comes up to an old logging road. After a mile the trail comes to an old tote road and travels with the tote road for 0.2m and veers off. After the tote road, the trail starts to climb steeply up through three ledges with good views. After the third ledge, the trail levels off until you reach the summit of Blueberry Mountain after 2.4m.

From the summit of Blueberry Mountain, the trail descends moderately and then climbs steeply to a small summit. After the small summit, the trail is mostly level and passes two ledges. After 1.7m, you will come to the junction with the Porter Mountain from Johns Brook Road Trail.

From the junction with the Porter Mt. from Johns Brook Trail, the trail climbs moderately and then levels off until you reach the summit of Porter Mountain after 0.4m. Crossing the summit, the trail turns into the Porter Mountain Trail.
